Hey guys, welcome back to the Ryan Smith Show. This is the episode two. And hey man, we're having fun again, and we're just going to keep it rolling, man. We had a good week in football. If you're an Ohio fan, man, like I said, we had a great, great, a good week. I ain't gonna say great. We had a good week as far as the Browns go. But um, yeah, we're gonna just go and jump right into it, man. And the Browns did what they had to do against the Miami Dolphins. Had to uh beat them boys 31-6. I mean, it was ugly. And I'm not gonna give too much praise on the Browns right now because of that win. I mean, the conditions were horrible, and we played a horrible team in the Miami Dolphins. I mean, them boys are bad. I thought we were bad. Them boys stink and hey, sorry, but hey, a win is a win, and I'm gonna take it out. And we did what we had to do and get that good win against the very poor, weak Miami team. But like I said, I'm not giving any, I'm not gonna give any praise to uh Gabriel because he really didn't do anything. He didn't really have to do anything because the defense and the special teams pretty much did all the work. I mean, they put us in positions where all you had to do was just give Junkins the ball and boom, he ends up with three touchdowns. I mean, which is great for our Ohio State, another Ohio State guy in Junkins. Hey, he had a game, man. Three touchdowns, that's beautiful. I'm gonna take that at any week. I mean, that just shows that we can dominate, but against this this type of team, I mean, it's just not, it's not it. You know what I mean? So we have to, we did what we had to do. Um, the Miami Dolphins, I mean, the Miami Dolphins beat themselves pretty much. I mean, it was it was pretty ugly. I mean, all the all the penalties against them was just like, oh, thank you. Well, thank you again. Oh, shoot. Fumbled a kickoff. All right, all right, we'll take it. I mean, it was just like, hey, they would they pretty much gave us the game. So we had to win that game. If we would have lost that game, I'd I probably would be on the screen ripping my jersey up or something like that. But I'm not I'm not doing that. We had a good game. I'm gonna take a win. And uh next week we play the uh the Patriots, and that's gonna be that's a different, that's a different squad. They five and two right now. And that that rookie quarterback, that man, hey, he's scary. I don't know. So defense gonna have to they're gonna have to tighten up. We can't have no no crazy penalties, no crazy nothing. We gotta play tight. We gotta, you know what I mean? We have to we're gonna have to do what we have to do to beat the Patriots. I mean, that's gonna be a different game, like I said. Um, but we won this game, and I feel good about it. I mean, I feel good about the defense, and we look pretty good. But again, it was the Miami Dolphins. One and five, Miami Dolphins. Again, we were one and five. We were two one in five teams. I mean, somebody had to be, somebody had to win. So I'm just glad it was us on this end. I mean, defense looked great against those guys. I can't, I'm not mad at all. I mean, my boy Miles Gary did his thing, finally got some sacks in there. Uh just the defense just looked great. I mean, that's all I can say. The defense looked great. The defensive coordinator, he did his thing. He he called a great game. Again, I'm not gonna give too much praise to the offense, but I will give praise to the situations that we were, that Miami put us in. So I thank you, Miami, for stinking it up out there and get and putting us in great field position, damn near every every possession. So Junkins, yeah. That whoa, that that 41 yard boy, hey, that was nice. That was that was nasty. He do look, he looks good, and we gotta make sure that boy keep getting the ball. I don't know where Joker was. Oh, Joker was hurt. My dude was hurt. So once we get our fanning, I don't know. He kind of he got he had a couple good catches. And I mean, like, there was just a couple little throws that Gabriel made, but it I wasn't super impressed. Anybody could have made those throws against that defense. That defense was, that whole team was just out of whack. Like we were playing a Pac-10 college team or something. Like, I I don't know who, I don't know what where the Dolphins got going on over there. I feel bad for any Dolphins fan. I only know one Dolphins fan in the city. And my boy, I ain't gonna put you out there. But you know who you are. I know you watch. Sody. Not so sorry, but hey, man, that's pretty much my take on the Browns game. I mean, hey, we won, man. We got New England next week. We gotta keep up, keep the momentum going on the defensive side and the special teams. Just keep it going, man. And hopefully the offense will click. You know what I mean? Hopefully they click with the defense, and we'll see. So fans you got one more week, man. Come on, let's go. Let's keep it going, man, because the fans are itching, man. We still want that 12 guy in there. So let's see, man. You got one more week for me, Gabriel. I'm gonna give you one more week. And I'm gonna no, I'm gonna give you a half. I'm gonna give you one more good half. And you better have a good half against New England. You better hope it's raining. So they gotta so we gotta run more and not show off your non-passing skills and your career. I don't wanna I don't wanna put you out there like that, Gary. I'm not even gonna do you like that, but I gotta take for you later on in the season. I know what kind of quarterback you are. And it's gonna be called out. Probably this week. We'll see. Yeah, that's my take on the Browns, man. Good game. Way to go, Browns. Let's keep it going, dogs. Let's go. All right, man. All right, man. Like I said, we had a great week of football. Great weekend of football last weekend. And um, gotta talk about these buckeyes, man. Jesus Louise, what they why they had to do Wisconsin like that, man. We ain't had to beat them boys 34 to nothing like that. But hey, I love it, man. I don't care. Anybody can get it. Anybody, anybody that wants it, we can get it. They can get it. Them old state boys are serious, man. Hey, I said I didn't know about this saying, kid, but hey, we know about him now. We know about him now. That man pulled an Al Bunny with four touchdowns in one game, man. This boy gonna be talking about this game for the rest of his life. I don't care if he does nothing else. He's gonna be talking about this game. Seven yards from 400? Boy, are you crazy? That man had a night, man. Come on. The defense, man, they ain't let these dudes do nothing. This game was great, man. I loved everything about this game, man. Everything was beautiful. I have no complaints about this game at whatsoever. Like, this was just beautiful football. And I don't care who's out there. If you're an old state fan, you love to see just dominance, just straight, just skiller, just nonstop, just nah. I don't care what the score is, just keep running it up. And that's what my old state boys did. And feel sorry for Port. I feel sorry for Penn State, man. Y'all. November 1st, man. That's that's the that's the game that everybody, ooh, Penn State. I don't care about Penn State no more. I ain't afraid of nobody now. Ryan Day got these boys playing great. I said something about something last week or a couple weeks ago on my last take about um Ryan Day being spoiled. No, this man ain't spoiled, man. This man had a goddamn machine back there. I'm sorry for cussing, but mama, this boy got a machine back there that he can just pick. Hey, I want this quarterback for next season. I want this quarterback. And yeah, I want him to be in the Heisman. I want to be in the Heisman race. Yeah, that's what I like. And it happens. I mean, this dude is now considered in the Heisman race now after that performance. And is well deserved. He's six games, and this dude has been grinding. I mean, like, I never heard of this kid. And now we gotta say it, man. Saying, man, we gotta, we gotta, we gotta, we gotta get this dude's name in here, man. This dude's saying is the truth, man. I am I can't say anything bad about this quarterback, bro. Like, I'm a fan now. I'm about to go get me a jersey. You might see me in the sand jersey coming up, man. Next couple episodes. But man, hey, Buckeyes, they did their thing. Like I get, like again, I said, um, we gotta play Penn State. I think we're gonna roll. We we the way we're rolling, man, we gotta pay, we gotta play him in the shoe. It's nothing, man. This is gonna be an easy win again. We might blow somebody else out. Penn State. I hope y'all bring y'all. You better hope it ain't raining or nothing crazy, man. Because I don't I don't want Bo Jackson to go crazy on y'all. If he, I mean, we have to unleash him. If it's a rainy game or something like that, it's gonna be ugly for y'all. So I don't know. It's gonna be ugly regardless. O-State is rolling right now, and I can't say nothing bad about him. I don't have any more questions about the quarterback situation. These boys are great. Defense is rolling. Everybody, they doing, they're doing their job, man. And O-State, man. Y'all can debate me if you want to, man. I don't care. We about to roll through Penn State, too. So I know a couple Penn State fans out there, too. You know who you are. I know you, I know you watching. You can leave it, we can debate about it, but it's gonna be ugly for y'all come November 1st. All right. It's that time, y'all. Oh my goodness. My favorite part of the year. The NBA season is right around the corner, boys. And I cannot wait. Oh my goodness. Year 23 for LeBron. This is gonna be amazing. You know I'm a LeBron guy. I am a witness, and we're gonna witness some greatness this year. Um, and my calves. Oh my gosh, we got to play the Knicks. First game, Madison Square Garden. It's revenge time. Yeah. And we got a we got a little secret weapon. We got Alonzo Ball this time. It's game time. I can't wait. This season is gonna be so fun. And I can't wait to give you guys all my takes on basketball because this is this is my sport, man. This is this is where you're gonna get you're gonna get the real Ryan this year. This you're gonna get it. I got jerseys too. Yeah, it's coming. Yeah, I'm super hyped about the basketball, the basketball season. And um, yeah, the Cavs. Yeah, we get the Knicks 1-0. Let's go. I'm I'm putting it out there. We're gonna beat the Knicks first game. We out of here, man. We ain't playing with these boys no more. We coming out like we start like we started last year.
